If you think life in a condo is boring, think again!

There is a misconception that Modern Condo Living is boring, lacks outdoor space, culturally homogeneous, and unsociable. It's not uncommon these days for high density condo developments to include in their common elements a good size lounge and party room, outdoor cabanas and bbq space for spill over entertainment to accomodate large crowds, lap pools, movie rooms, sophisticated fitness rooms, yoga and pilates. studio etc. High density community living allows residents to easily find like-minded neighbours to set up interest groups and promote healthy active living. A few Toronto top developers do keep this in mind when designing innovative living in vertical highrises so it's not just another box in the sky.

For this particular boutique condo known as One Park West Condominium in Regent Park, the expansive party room on the 13th floor, with a separate east and west terrace at each end which can be completely opened up to connect indoor and outdoor space, is unique to Toronto Downtown Condominiums.

I recently got a small group together in my building for weekly Monday night yoga. It just so happens that one of my recent clients in the building is a certified yoga instructor and Lululemon ambassador. There is nothing better than being taught by a resident who is passionate about what he does, and be willing to offer one of the best yoga classes in Downtown Toronto. The photo below is from our Monday recent yoga class. Imagine a sunset yoga class with a breath taking city view to finish off the end of the busy work day! Welcome to Regent Park Life!

Very true Trisha. There is another side to condo living than just a box in the sky. I hope to present a more holistic viewpoint different levels from building to community.

Hi Anne, Before I really knew anything about condo living, I used to think of high rise condo's as human filing cabinets. Nothing could be further from the truth. Condo living can be just as exciting if not more so than in other types of housing.

"Human Filing Cabinets" is an interesting analogy
