5 Ways to Position Yourself As The Expert While Being Social
The goal of social media is to position yourself as a expert in that field. For me it's Real Estate. To achieve that goal your need to do or not do the following.
1- Leave the sales pitch for another time.
Example: if all you post consist of "Buy this one it's the best" you will soon find people are un-friending or deleting you.
2- Post relative and positive information.
Example: for me its anything to do with real estate, mortgages, community, communities, how to info, a little none RE related info and a little personal.
3- Get in front of the video.
Example: a video of you introducing your self or services, homes you have for sale, communities, community events
4- Engage with your audience
Comments back when someone comments on what you post, share what others post and leave a comment and give credit.
5- Be consistent - Not obnoxious
Example: decide what works for you and then just do it just don' over do it!
Keep in mind that what ever you post can be viewed by everyone and if you Don't want it to appear on the front page of the New York Times don't put it in writing.
