Homes for Sale in The Columbines in Milton Mass

This week I wanted to take a moment to discuss one of the most beloved neighborhoods in Milton. The neighborhood I am speaking of is The Columbines. The neighborhood that many people really enjoy owning homes in is the Columbine neighborhood.  This neigborhood appeals to many due to the fact that there are great homes of all styles in this area. People like the mature trees.

A favorite in the area is the Shields Park and Playground where many youths in Milton have learned to play baseball.  Shields Park is roughly around 400 Eliot Street. Many city dwellers like access to the trolley either from the Capen Street stop, Eliot or Central Ave. This trolley takes your directly into the Ashmont Station for direct access to Boston. 

A major draw to the Columbine Neighborhood is the fact that people can walk to shops and restaurants. One of the newest restaurants is Steel and Rye in Milton's Lower Mills. Another local new favorite spot is The Plate. The Plate Restaurant and Cafe is located at 27 Central Avenue Milton. If you are looking for your morning coffee or perhaps and ice cream you will want to visit Radio Coffeehouse. This is the place for an honest cup of coffee at a GREAT price. In the spring and summer you will want to stop by Radio Coffeehouse for their ice cream. 

Right near the Columbines is the Neponset River Bike Path. This bike path is about 3 miles long and can be picked up at Central Avenue in Milton.  You can bike on what used to be the old rail bed for the railway that followed the Neponset River. It's an amazing resource. Another outdoor spot would be the pathway around Turner's Pond in Milton which was recently made semi-paved to help with accessibility. This is another gem.
