Market Update Summary for April 2013:
Town Sold Property Transactions Median Price
Port Washington: 286 sales, an increase of 18.7% +.5% increase in Property Values
Manhasset: 228 sales, an increase of 16.9% +1.1% increase in Property Values
Glen Cove: 180 sales, an increase of 18.4% +6.1% increase in Property Values
This is the first month where, 11050, 11030 and 11542, (includes Sands Point, Plandome, and Manhasset Hills), all increased in “Property Values” and “Number of Transactions” compared
to last year’s data, per the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island, MLSLI.
This market direction has been projected by The National Association of Realtors, Google, Zillow, Trulia and MLSLI, to name a few and is expected to continue with an increase in Property Transactions and Property Values, as well as in Mortgage Rates.
