Active Rain members Meet-Up at Simply Beautiful Spa in San Ramon.
It all started on April 13, 2013 at the ActiveRain Bay Area Meet-Up at the home of Antonio & Alexia Cardenas when Kathleen Daniels, Anja Kerstens and Pacita Dimacali, scheduled a body wrap on May 11, 2013 at Alexia Cardenas' Simply Beautiful Spa.
Not really knowing what to expect I must say that the experience was amazing. I highly recommend Simply Beautiful in San Ramon. Alexia and her staff treated up like Royalty. We all need to be pampered occassionally - don't you agree?
Alexia and her staff work very hard. The time, care and dedication they give their clients is exceptional.
For some reason I did not feel like I could smile with my face wrapped like a mummy. As you can see, Pacita is smiling from ear to ear.

The Simply Beautiful mineral body wrap process - simply stated is:
- Remove all clothing except underwear
- Spa staff escorts you to a private room where initial measurements are taken
- Hot bandages soaked in minerals are tightly wrapped around the body - starting at the ankles and ending at the head. Head wrapping is optional
- Feet and hands are placed in plastic bags
- Drape is placed over body
- Exit the private room and into the spa to be sprayed with more minerals
- On to the elliptical machine for 20 minutes - there is a large TV to watch or watch a movie from the Simply Beautiful movie library
- Off the elliptical machine to have bags emptied and more minerals applied
- Back on the elliptical machine for 20 minutes - movement enhances the release of more toxins from the body
- Off the elliptical machine to have bags emptied and more minerals applied
- Back on the elliptical machine for 20 minutes
- Off the elliptical machine - bags removed and escorted back into the private room
- Drape and bandages are removed and measurements taken - 13.5 inches vanished from my body - the average is 11 inches
I will most definitely do this again. It was worth the drive from San Jose to San Ramon. I highly recommend this to everyone ... even men get mineral body wraps.
