*Another cleaning tip if you are leaving your washer in your home after selling or if you are moving into a home with a used washer is to make sure that it is properly sterilized. This can be done by using a cup of bleach and a cup of vinegar, let it soak for a couple of hours, and then let it run on a heavy cycle, any nasties that might have been in there will be gone. It is also important to use a good cleaner or vinegar and water solution to wipe the inside of the dryer and all of the parts of the washer that the water does not hit.
*Window washing: You may want to hire someone to wash your windows but it is important to get those suckers nice and clean, it will make the house look a million times better. I personally do them myself with industrial window cleaner, I get out a ladder and do the inside and out.
* Closets: If you move into a home where the previous owner had pets, (ive seen people who have had cats who urinated inside closets, on the walls, etc.) The best way to get this out is to use a product called Kills, you can get it at Home Depot. You simply paint over the dingy mess, let it dry and then continute to paint with your regular paint. You wont even know there was an animal in there after you are done.
Hope this info helps! I will post more in the days to come!
