Now you know I'm going to say I would have rather heard the Dusty Springfield tune don't you? I did enjoy the video though and reading about your Mom's routine.....and yours.
Mona - Welcome back! Yes I remember the days that you speak about. Those were the days! Have fun on your next adventure!
I never even thought about the fact that my brother and I drove our parents crazy with our two stereos before. Huh? Hugs to your mom from me.
Good morning Mona -
Glad you enjoyed your road trip and are home safe and sound. Your choice of NO TIME this morning is quiet fitting for most of us in the Rain. Seems like there just isn't enough hours in the day ..... Not complaining! Bring it on... Bring it on. Real estate that is :)
Hello Mona, Miss your blogs, Sirius I listen to 60's all the time in the car, love it.
Hi Mona, so glad to hear you are having a great time with your mom and are creating great memories. I love to travel but every time I do, I'm also looking forward to sleeping in my own bed again.
That sign is awesome! I should get one of those.. the girls we'll be teenagers before I know it.
How fun and what a great mom - I love the bike riding. Moms do look into facebook and blogs - I have friends tell me that they check up on their kids ... guess your mom is doing the same. Love it!
Hi Clint, thanks. It's good to be home even for a few days. We'll head back to FL this weekend and I'll see my brothers for a couple of days before flying back here.
Roger, I love Dusty Springfield and have posted her at least once if not more. She might be the choice next Monday.
Peter, thanks! I enjoy catching your FB posts.
Tammy, my mom really enjoyed meeting you last year. I'll give her hugs for you.
John, bring it on for sure. Glad you enjoyed the music.
Will, and I miss seeing you. Everything should smooth back out next week.
Andrea, those girls will be into teenage stuff in such a short time that its scary.
Connie, she is a great mom. We're all so proud of her that she's taking such good care of herself.
Well Mom will be pleased to have been included in your morning blog! I can hear her laughing! Welcome back!
Being unable to keep to our usual routine is part of the charm of a vacation. It takes us out of our "rut." Your mom sounds incredibly fit. How wonderful.
Joni, thanks. Its good to be back and there's nothing that Mom loves better than to be included in a blog, lol.
Jill, that's true. Taking a break from the routine was fun but its a little frustrating not to be able to jump back in right away.
Hi Mona,
And welcome back into the Rain. :-)
I hope you had a very good time. All good thing do come to an end. We just wish they could last forever though.
Have a great day back in Dillsboro.
Best, Clint McKie
