Two years ago a good friend told me to get out of the mortgage business. I have been doing both mortgages and real estate for a long time. I believed that it gave me an edge in helping my clients. I felt that I owed it to THEM.
Well, last week I did get out of the mortgage business. Maybe I will regret it. Or maybe my friend was right when he told me, "The day you quit doing mortgages will be the happiest day of your life."
As for today, I can say unequivocally, he was right!
