Back of your business card? What information do you put back there?

What do you guys use on the back of your business card the make your clients keep them. I have a handy little tip chart for folks to use in restaurants. I also have had cards that asks them for referrals. I was wondering what most of you thought about using the back of your business card, and if you think it actually makes a difference in your business.

What has been your best business card set-up?

Do you think most people keep your business card?

What are some of the best business cards you have seen front and back?

What is the best thing that you think you could place on the back or your cards to increase your business?

I am not sure that anything on the back would be any benefit.  I do not think people will flipover the card to look to see what is there.  Plus, due to the limited space, I question what would be valuable?  I'll check back to see what other peoples thoughts are.

I've had Co-branding with mortgage info when I was with another company. No one ever used that company for their mortgage though. I keep my card blank on the back now. I've thought about putting a mortgage rate table or a catchy phrase. I'd be interested to see what others are doing too. Always get some good ideas from AR.

I like cards that are blank on the back so that I can write on them.

I put a calendar on the back of my business cards. I am hope this will help them to keep the card. I know in the past I have kept cards in my wallet just because they had a calendar on the back.

The reverse of my business card has a list of products and services we offer. So if you have a niche you offer  to your client that can be a great place to get it out.   USE THE SPACE YOUR PAYING FOR IT!!!

I had the tip chart but it was so small.  I can't even read it myself.  Besides who really pulls them out at a restaurant.  I like the back blank to so I can write on them

Currently the back of my card is blank - and it's been handy for making notes on.  The very first set of business cards I bought when I started in RE had a tip chart and I did get one comment that someone found it useful.

One thing I'm considering is to have a number of different cards:
1. Card for agents; back side to show the referral fee I pay and the areas I service
2. Card for clients; back side blank - or thanking them for the business and asking for referrals
3. Card for handouts to prospects; back side will have a special offer - maybe a free home warranty or inspection... this is great for giving out to the 'strangers' we start conversations with.  (Thanks to Tracey Thomas for the post about talking to strangers).

The back of my card has my name and clip art on it.  I figure with my name on both sides it's less likely to get lost in the shuffle.  I've had alot of positive comments on it.  Has it gained me any extra business, probably not.  But it didn't cost anything extra at the time and it's a good conversation piece.
