Congratulations to Arnetha Anderson Realtor...50 Yrs in Real Estate!
Today I had the opportunity to attend a very special event for one of our special Nampa 
Realtors.
Arnetha Anderson has worked at Brandt Agency for 50 years....she also celebrated her 75th birthday!
And she is still licensed
as a Realtor.
We celebrated at the Brandt Agency today with a very nice and fun BBQ lunch.
Arnetha told me a bit about the story of how she got involved with the
Real Estate Industry.
Her Husband Merrill and her were trying to buy their very first home....
However the home that they wanted they couldn't qualify for.
Don Brandt, was newly licensed....at his Dad's company "The Brandt Agency".
He offered Arnetha a job that would pay her $60.00 a month to
help with the office and to do the books.
That was enough to help this couple to buy their home....
and it gave Don Brandt his first Real Estate Sale.
She worked that job for 10 years. Then in 1973 she became a licensed Realtor.....
And as they say .....the rest is history.
Isn't that a neat story? I hadn't heard it before today.
Arnetha has been very active in the Nampa Association of Realtors.
She used to be the "money taker" at our annual Scholarship Auction sponsored by the Nampa Association of Realtors.
Arnetha was very instrumental in helping with the weekly bus tours the
Nampa Association had up until a few years ago.
What an inspiration she is to many of us in the industry!
