You either hate them or love them, I happen to Love them. I am a one on one person and can read people well,being a good listner is so imporant, saves you time and time is money!
When I moved to Florida 7 yrs ago, no one had open houses. I am glad they are back, I love open houses.

Course, I am with Weichert Realtors which is the absolute leading Brokerage firm with Open Houses every weekend!!!!
It helps the Sellers and Buyers find homes and gets us more clients on a regular basis...... A bunch of Signs and Balloons filled with helium..... not a bad expense!!!!!
Keep it up.... you'll stay busy too!!!

I agree, Open Houses are great! Not only will your seller see that you are working to sell their home but you can also meet new buyers. Your Open House signs also work as advertisement in the area and you get known by the community.
I also always bring my laptop along and get a lot accomplished during the slow times.
