Active Rain Reorientation AKA Bob Stewart Explains the New Features and How they are Making Active Rain Better
Today Bob Stewart held a great webinar to Re-Orient us to some of the new features and changes on our active rain page and give us a peek at some of the future changes that may be coming up.
Here are a few of my notes on the webinar, if you missed it, make sure that you watch for a repeat, it was worth the time.
- Instead of a home button, your picture on the upper left is now home with 2 dropdowns along side of the picture to remind us to update our profile and blog settings more often, these are important and they are encouraging us to update them more than we do.
-
"Write a blog" button is now more prominent -
"Following" button, I noticed this last week and love where this takes me, right to the folks that I am subscribed to and their blogs. -
A little discussion on the dropdown menus, still deciding if these are worth the hastles or not, yes folks, he heard all of us who complained about the dropdowns. -
Some of the stuff that most of us are used using the old way, they have made improvements that will make it easier for the new folks, so lets be patient and realize that some of the new things are actually making it better for the new folks. -
I like the stuff they are doing with the new profile page template design.
- Nice of Bob to mention my blog on the Top 10 List for Selling Your Forestland at a Premium Price
-
May have the ability to let the public subcribe to our blogs via email in the future.
Not all of the changes are finalized but I think that they will make it better for us over time, it may just take a little adjusting.
