I just returned this evening from my first conference for RE/MAX of Michigan.
Talk about a shot of B-12. Wow! I haven't felt this positive since I passed my exam on the first try.
After a dismal year in 07 and making a grand total of $2,144.15 and paying out....Well you know how it is!
I am delighted and a bit humbled at what I saw and learned. We enjoyed many workshops as well as two great keynote speakers. My favorite. David Knox, without a doubt. Funny, entertaining, but with unforgettable object lessons. His humor only serves to drive his point to the real message. Clearly his speaking is to urge us all to be the best.
I met so many wonderful Realtors, and attended my first Sales Advisory Council meeting to which I was appointed as the representative for our 3 offices. Fabulous group of professionals. Fun, friendly, helpful, caring. Coming back to Drummond Island this evening there are many wonderful conversations, contacts and so much wisdom from those before me. Some of the other Realtors were my age, 20, 30 or more years younger and still helpful.
I took a workshop with Paul Hicks, RE/MAX Sunset on websites and BLOGGING! Active/Rain was known by about a third of us.
I have many reasons to smile tonight.
Monday morning, with my list in hand, work will be new and exciting.
NOTE;
A HUGE heartfelt THANK YOU to my Broker/Owner Joan Reed of RE/MAX Eagle Properties Kinross, Cedarville, soon to be Sault Saint Marie, Michigan
Thank you Joan, you're the BEST, just the BEST! The ride home today was wonderful. I will take care of that "To Do" list you gave me.
