Rainbow Glen Community of Canyon CountryWhen out of the area real estate agents and home buyers start their home search in the Santa Clarita Valley, the Rainbow Glen neighborhood of Canyon Country is the hidden gem they sometimes miss. Usually, excited Santa Clarita home buyers first hear of the newer more popular communities located in Canyon Country and Valencia. That’s easy to understand, and if one is unfamiliar with SCV, the Canyon Country Rainbow Glen community can easily go unnoticed. This is partly due to location, as Rainbow Glen is a bit tucked away. It's also because of some confusion between the various neighborhoods and home owners associations that make up this peaceful and quiet community.

The neighborhoods located in the Canyon Country Rainbow Glen area are actually situated in nine different neighborhoods. There are multiple home owners associations that make up each area, and each HOA has specific amenities available for their residents. The older homes are called the American Beauty Classics and built in the late 80’s. This neighborhood is lovely, and as peaceful and serene as one can hope for in a planned community. The newer homes, such as those found in the Monterey and Pacific Grove tracts, were built in the late 90’s to early 2000. Just like most communities, there are a wide range of homes of every price range, size and type, including a separate condominium complex. Some areas are situated on flat land but a good number of homes are situated on hills, offering some amazing view opportunities.

The schools in this area are known to be some of the very best. Always verify the school boundaries, but at the time of this writing the schools serving Rainbow Glen are La Mesa Rainbow Glen Community of Canyon CountryJunior High and the Golden Valley High School.

When we say, the Rainbow Glen neighborhood of Canyon Country is the hidden gem what we mean is, The whole area is just lovely, and in certain circumstances there are some darn good values to be had! Also, it’s not unreasonable for home buyers to expect they might get a little more home for their money than might be found in the newer more popular communities. It really depends on your home buying goals are.
