Check it Out, Summer Time Fun in Anthem Arizona....www.angjohnson.com

I'm happy to report Anthem Arizona real estate is humming along just like the rest of Arizona and for good reason.  Anthem is truly an awesome community to call home!  Summertime in Anthem offers fun at the Anthem waterparks, pools, train park, skate park, fishing pond, fourth of July celebration and so much more!!

One of our favorite Summer time events in Anthem is the outdoor concert series in the community parks amphitheater beginning every Friday night in May.  This family-friendly event encourages homeowners to bring a blanket, picnic dinner, drinks and a few friends to enjoy the diverse sounds of local Arizona bands underneath the starry Anthem sky.  From jazz to country and a little bit of rock-n-roll, there is something for everyone.

Anthem's independence day celebration is one of the best in Arizona and draws in thousands of people all through out Arizona who come together to celebrate the 4th of July.  Here you can find a wonderful fireworks display, a parade, pony rides for the children, bouncy houses, festival food brought by area vendors and a chance to mingle with friends and neighbors.

On Monday, May 27th at 10a.m. Anthem will pay tribute to Veterans in a way only Anthem can.  Anthem's commitment to remember and make tribute to those who have sacrificed so very much for our freedom is evident at the Anthem Veterans Memorial in the ACC Community Park.  Anthem residents, area businesses, and the Anthem rotary club have worked hard to build a gorgeous memorial with marble pillars, beautiful landscape, mosaic of the great seal of the United States, and brick pavers inscribed with the names of U.S service men and woman that form a circle of honor surrounding the marble pillars. The projects originator and chairman, United States Navy Rear Admiral (Ret.) Ron Tucker, Congressman Ben Quayle and Anthem resident and local Veterans Day parade chair United States Marine Corporal Mary Ann Derryberry.

The Anthem Veterans Memorial is a true gesture of gratitude and respect towards all of our servicemen and women.   Honestly,  I cried tears of honor, respect and happiness when I witnessed first hand what an outstanding job this community has done at creating awareness and gratitude to  those who have earned it most.  My little sister has served in Iraq twice and Afghanistan once during her eight year tenor with the United States Military.  The sacrifices these wonderful souls make when they are asked to leave their families for months at a time with no promise of return is a true inspiration to me and my family. - Angie Johnson, www.AngJohnson.com, 480.570.5500.www.angjohnson.com
