Making it all worth it!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty
On Saturday morning a rookie in my office was sitting at the front desk for “opportunity” time. It was 9:20 and she received a call from a prospective buyer. Twelve hours later she was on her way home - in the meantime she showed a few homes, wrote a contract, and killed herself on the way to exhaustion. Ah, remember when? My point is sometimes we forget to do the the little things - like showing up. By showing up, this rookie made something happen that she never could have imagine just 24 hours before. Was she tired? Of course. Did she want to cry the sheer fatigue of the day? You bet. But today she became a working Realtor. And for her, that makes it all worth it. You go girl!!!!

If we don't make ourselves available to those interested in a home we will not be able to work with them.  The more I work the "luckier" I seem to be.

Woo Hoo!  There's nothing quite like making the first deal work!    Mine was 25 years ago, and Marc Fleisher was the listing agent, and I've never forgotten how really nice he was to me as a raw green rookie!  And He's still that way!  Too bad he doesn't have time to blog!
