Realtor and City Officials Working Together

By
Real Estate Agent with Crown Key Realty

The city of Tracy where I live is located in California's great central valley. The valley provides many agricultural products for Americans across our vast country to eat and live healthy. Tracy is located in what is called the San Joaquin Valley and we are just about 70 mile from San Francisco.

One of the great thing about living here is the willingness of city officials to provide information on a timely basis. Yesterday at the CVAR Tracy marketing meeting two of our best officials joined us to give us updates on current projects and give us a glimpse into the future.

In the picture is Andrew Malik who is in charge of city development. Joining him but not pictured was Leon Churchill our city manager.

They updated us on the progress of the 1,000,000 square foot facility Amazon is building in Tracy and 900 plus jobs it will provide. We learned about new restaurants that will be coming and other projects further down the road.

As a Realtor this is the type of information we need to better educate (OK, maybe impress) potential clients considering buying a home here. My thanks to Andrew and Leon for their willingness to time to be at our meeting and the quality of information they were willing to provide.

My name is Dale E. Bledsoe with Crown Key Realty and as always I may be reached at 209-481-6031.

The sooner both parties realize that we can and do help each other the easier it will be for all of us.

I sure agree William. Recently over 4000 of us Realtors went to our states capitol Sacramento to meet with Governor Brown and other state legislators. Gov. Brown said it best when he commented "I'd love to screw with you guys a little but you're just to damn powerful". In that same sense our power along with local powers could do a lot of good for communities.

Wow, 1 million square feet and 900 jobs. That should be a boom for your economy.
