Spinnaker Cove at Desert Harbor
Spinnaker Cove is one of the larger communities that can be found around Desert Harbor Lake. Found on the north side of Desert Harbor Lake, Spinnaker Cove consists of 112 homes that were built between 1988 and 2000, making it one of the newer communities in Desert Harbor. While there are some two story homes in Spinnaker Cove, the vast majority of homes are single story. The homes for sale in Spinnaker Cove are also generally larger than most of the other communities. The size of homes range from 1,874 square feet to 3,750 square feet, with the exception of one home that was built with 5,500 square feet. Given that most of the homes in Spinnaker Cove are larger than those in the neighboring communities, the lot sizes are also generally larger. About two-thirds of the homes in Spinnaker Cove are considered to be waterfront properties and have private lake access.
Unlike some of the other neighboring communities in Desert Harbor, Spinnaker Cove is not a private gated community nor does it have a community pool for residents. As a result, while residents of Spinnaker Cove still need to pay the semi-annual Desert Harbor Lake fees, the HOA fees for Spinnaker Cove itself are less than most of the surrounding communities.
