Showed the whole Valley even when I KNEW which city they'd like..

I wish I was one of the Realtors in my office that has a "farm".  They live there, list there, sell there, get new listings there, sell there.  Boom!  I'm not one of those few, lucky agents.  I sell in the whole Palm Springs valley..Palm Springs (west side) to La Quinta, Indio, and Thermal (East side).  A lot of territory.  I LOVE that I get to go all over the Valley!  It's hot, hard and tiring, but I also get the chance to get out of my own area..even development.  I like figuring out the streets, the developments, the shopping areas, restaurants, popular hangouts..education is fun.

I can only imagine how much easier it would be just to cover a few square miles..wow!  Sweet! 

Yesterday, my San Diego clients came over on their second visit.  Narrowed it down between Rancho Mirage, (central valley), Indian Wells, (Central Valley) to La Quinta..further East.  Because of our last visit, what they wanted to spend and golf preferences, I figured they'd love La Quinta enough to write.  But...we spent hours eliminating the other cities, and "yes", they are settled on La Quinta.  With previewing, it was a lot of hours, but I also had a ball showing them homes. 

Real estate is never easy.  Successful realtors do what they have to do.  Not lucky enough to have a "farm?" Oh well.  I guess I do have a "farm"..it's just ALOT bigger than others!
