Here is a fun 19+ event coming up in the lower mainland. The Vancouver Craft Beer Week starts May 31st until June 8th, this event features 60+ breweries that participate. The opening night gala is being held Friday, May 31st from 6pm-11pm at the Roundhouse Community Centre, there will be tons of fun to be had with raffles, door prizes, music and more! Tickets to this event are $45 for more details please visit their website, there is also information for the Vancouver Craft Beer Week Festival happening Friday June 7th & Saturday June 8th at the River Rock Casino, tickets for this are $35 and include a commemorative VCBW taster glass & 3 drink tickets. On a more family friendly event topic the city of Pitt Meadows has their yearly Pitt Meadows Day. Saturday June 1st from 7am-10am you can enjoy pancakes & syrup made by the Meadows Lions Club, followed by a parade from 11am-12:30 (parade starts at Blakely Rd & Hammond Rd, travels west on Hammond Rd and north on Harris Rd to the end at the Heritage Hall), from 12:30-5pm enjoy free activities at Harris Park (face painting, baseball games, rock wall climbing, crafts display, live music & historic car display), and conclude the evening from 10-11pm with a fireworks display put on by the Pitt Meadows Fire Department at the Pitt Meadows Athletic Park.
