As part of our gratitude to those who have served our country this Memorial Day weekend, we decided to explore the bountiful natural beauty of our area. We pulled the elusive "Discovery Pass" from the glove box, set it up on the dash of our family truckster and headed for every park we've passed along the way headed to somewhere else.
It turned out to be a glorious day, filled with exciting finds and breath taking views. Our best four legged friend also had a ball, and all in all, it was a remarkable day of serenity and reflection.
