Dust Devil's in New Mexico. They are just like a tornado.
On my trip yesterday for Desert Sun Home inspections in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
I had the opportunity to see a lot of dust devil's in the desert where I was traveling.
These dust devils can get very, very big.
They can carry winds over 100 miles per hour.
The dust devils are known for their destructive nature.
If you see one of these dust devils coming your way, you better stay out of the way of it if possible.
I have been thrown around in my truck driving down the highway before when getting hit by a dust devil and not even knowing it was there.
They have caused a lot of damage to homes and out buildings when they do hit.
Here is a look at a couple of dust devils I saw when driving yeaterday. They were huge.
When I saw this one I had to stop and take a picture. It was really big and packing very high winds.
Here is another shot of the dust devils found in the Deserts of New Mexico.
These dust devil's can travel at about 35 miles per hour. You can't outrun these of your cought in the path of these destructive dust devils.
So be safe when in New Mexico's Desert. If you see one coming get to a safe place.
Have a great day every one.
