I been having a hard time finding a home to meet the criteria and expections of two families I am currently working with who have both targeted the gated community of Grand Haven in Palm Coast. As I study the Grand Haven market it is easy to see why. The number of home sales in Grand Haven Year to date has risen 65% over last year while inventory has fallen. For the first five months of 2012 the average price for a home in Grand Haven was $310,000, this year it is $331,000.
But here is the really compelling part, in May the median price of the 14 homes that sold in Grand Haven is up to $361,000. Not only are prices in Grand Haven rising but the rate of increase is excellerating.
