As many of you know, Aspen Lane Real Estate, has been going through some big changes this year. After leaving my job of 5 years I came on board to help out with marketing and business development. I have been working diligently to keep our SEO up and … well, develop more business! So far, so good!
Recently my Mom, Belinda Spillman, and her business partner of 3 years, Will Hamm, parted ways. This was amicable and everyone is still friends, working at Aspen Lane.
Business started to boom and it was the best choice for each to go their own way and put 100% of their efforts into growing for the company as a whole.
Since the parting my Mom has been working like a mad woman … with me as her “sidekick”. Currently juggling 15 deals that are under contract, 7 active listings, and even more closings. Not a day goes by that we do not get a call from a past client, a referral, a network member, or a new client – and all of this, brings new business.
I was especially proud of my Mom and her efforts to keep soaring to the top last week when we took a new listing from a client. The client found my Mom by googling the top agents in the area … and, what do you know, she was number ONE! The client had 4 other interview scheduled, and after meeting with us, cancelled them all. We listed her house on Friday, today we were busy scheduling the inspection and getting ready for closing!!! WOOHOO – Under contract in just 4 days!!!
I am very thankful to be working with Belinda who is not only my Mom, but my best friend.
We make a great team, if I do say so myself, and I look forward to continuing to support her in this journey to greatness!
