Before the winter hits, you should inspect all your windows for leaks. If you find any, plug them up with caulk. This keeps cold air outside and keeps warm air in your home.

Set Up Heavy Rugs on the Floor

Close Off Rooms When You Aren’t Using Them

It’s easier to keep a small space warmer than a big one. The more rooms you have opened up around your house, the harder it will be to keep everything warm. Get in the habit of closing the doors for rooms after you leave them. Try to keep your family in the same section of the house as often as possible. This will make the house easier to warm and create a pleasant atmosphere.
