98TH ANNUAL SOUTHWESTERN AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The Renegade Course is the host course for the 98th Annual Southwestern Amateur June 17-21. The field of 144 amateurs from across the United States and from three countries will compete on June 18-19, with the top 60 and ties continuing June 20-21.
6/3 - GOLF GUEST DAY
Monday, June 3. Bring a guest for a round of golf and they are half price. Please contact any of the golf shops for more details.

DESERT MOUNTAIN'S JUNIOR SUMMER CAMPS!
Each week of camp offers a different theme including Junior Tennis Camp, Junior Sports Camp, Junior Golf Camp & Beach Party Camp!
JUNIOR TENNIS CAMP
June 3-7 & June 17-21. 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Sonoran Clubhouse. $55 per child, per day (lunch included). We'll start off the day by working on tennis basics including forehands, backhands, volleys and serves. After a quick snack, we'll head back out on the courts for more tennis instruction along with a game of jail! We'll also go swimming, win prizes & more! Please bring your tennis racquet, swimsuit and wear sunscreen and tennis shoes each day. Extra racquets will be available if needed. Ages 5-12. This class is perfect for out little ones who are 6 and 11:)
JUNIOR SPORTS CAMP
June 10 - 14 & June 24 - 28. 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Sonoran Clubhouse. $55 per child, per day (lunch included). Each day of camp will be filled with activities including tennis, golf, soccer, swimming, water games, arts and crafts, movies, special guests and more! Children will receive expert instruction in tennis on Mondays and Wednesdays and golf on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Ages 5-12.
BEACH PARTY CAMP - Woo hoo!!
July 29 - August 2 & August 5-9. 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Sonoran Clubhouse. $55 per child, per day (lunch included). We'll celebrate the end of summer during our Beach Party weeks! Each day will be filled with beach themed activities including water splash games, swimming, arts and crafts, movies, and more! Ages 5-12.
JUNIOR GOLF CYCLONE CAMP
June 17-21 & July 8-12. 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Jim Flick Golf Performance Center. $195 per week or $45 per day. The "Cyclone" camp focuses on fun and challenging fundamental movement skills as they relate to the golf swing and other sports. Golf skills taught include putting, chipping, pitching, sand play, full swing, golf rules and etiquette. Ages 5-9. Our son Ryan was state champ last year at age 5 and our daughter Summer has already placed #1 in 4 of her 7 events this year! We're so proud and more importantly, we've been there to share in it all! What other sport can you actually walk along your child and share in their accomplishments while enjoying the beauty of the course and the Arizona blue skies. I love my babies and I love that we can all play golf together as family.....
JUNIOR GOLF SMASH CAMP
June 17-21 & July 8-12. 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Jim Flick Golf Performance Center. $295 per week or $65 per day. This exciting and challenging program develops the junior golfer's life-long movement patterns as well as golf specific skills of putting, chipping, pitching, sand play, full swing, rules and etiquette. Juniors will apply the movement patterns learned throughout the program to the afternoon "on course" sessions to further challenge and develop their golf game. Ages 10 - 18.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
5/30 - BURGER NIGHT - Thursday, May 30, June 6, 13, 20 & 27. 5-9 p.m. Cochise/Geronimo. $18 per person. Beef, turkey, salmon and vegetarian bean burgers with a topping bar offering all of the condiments you could want. Add cheddar, Provolone, Swiss, American, pepper jack or smoked Gouda cheese and choose from your favorite sides of french fries, onion rings, Caesar salad, macaroni salad or coleslaw.
5/31 - FISH FRY
Fridays. 5-9 p.m. Outlaw. $18.50 per person. Includes beer battered fish, coleslaw, french fries and accompaniments. My husband really loves his fish fry at Outlaw, fun!!!
6/5 - PRIME & WINE - Wednesdays. Cochise/Geronimo. 5 - 9 p.m. $34 per person. Soup of the day, choice of Caesar, Apache chopped or wedge salad. Allen Brothers prime rib of beef with choice of sauce with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach as a side, and a glass of house wine. Desert Mountain Prime Rib is the Best!!
6/4 - STREET TACO NIGHT - Tuesdays in June 5-9 p.m. Cochise/Geronimo. $18 per person. Mini flour and corn tortillas with citrus chicken, chipotle shrimp, carne asada and carnitas fillings. Cheeses, salsas, Mexican creamed corn, rice and refried beans for side dishes. A little spice for every palate. Mmm, tacos and margaritas my favorite!
