I've been told I make Property Management look EASY! I think I make it look TOO GOOD!

We've seen several people/companies try to start property management here- they come and then they go. It ISN'T easy. When they find that out they quit. Fine with me.

Wallace, I am sure Property Management is not easy, and your experience has sure worked out for you to make it look Easier.

You do make it look easy Wallace, that's what the great ones do. I'm not looking to become a property manager, it's tough enough being an agent, but if I did I'd your email would be on a post-it note next to my computer and your phone number on my speed dial. You have to give her credit she wants to learn from the best.

This is exactly the thing that I tell my clients . . . I make it seem easy, so they don't have to fret.  But you're right, someone looking at the job you do and how you've managed your business over the years, sure it looks easy.  I'm working on a newsletter, it's taken me over a day so far, once done, it will look good and seem "easy" . . . HA HA HA  

Wallace, You have my respect for being a good property manager, I can tell you from experience, it is n-o-t  e-a-s-y!  

Property management is tough! Our sister company is a property management firm and I hear the stories every day.  It takes a special person to excel in that business.  Tenants are brutal!

Sometimes working with the public is the best training ground...or at least close to it. There's always that one tenant or owner that expects the moon.

Wallace- you do make it look easy! But that comes from having the knowledge and putting in the time to learn the business! I love realestate as a career because it always challenges me, each day is different!

Real estate is a 24/7 job, being a landlord, property manager means you have to be on the ball all the time, your many many many years of experience is what makes it look easy.

Wallace, You are a good property manager . If I know anyone looking for a property manager in your area  I will refer them to you

If property management was a NASCAR race. .you will be the one that drafts behind the leader and pass them on the last lap to win the race. . you are a true professional that has seen it all and makes it look easy. .

Well it appears to be handlable...until the problems kick in. You see unless you have had training or experience, those problems will have their way with you and some become quite expensive too...Managing property? I would find a good manager and pay the fees....

Wallace, Sure you make it look easy. I have just a few tenants and I may confess its not easy to handle them. Sure you have to keep up will all the laws and have a good Attorney on your side. What would be your advise to some one just starting off in Property Management business.

Someone needs a reality check. You have simply shown the expertise, competency and wisdom that comes from experience. From someone NOT in the know, yes you make it look simple. But they haven't a clue.

PRICELESS, you do make it look easy, but we both know that "easy" is 40 years, 3 states and a lot of battle scars!

Today, we actually got a rental application for a home we didn't officially have the Executive Leasing and Management Agreement signed for... we made it look "easy" as folks call us for upcoming homes, as there is NO inventory!

Hi Wallace.  Consummate professionals like you do make it look easy.

Wallace - It is only when you are truly good and knowledgeable that you can make it look easy.

Wallace-being extremely experienced makes your job look effortless. If they only knew the countless year put in honing your skills to make it look easy. 

With a good mentor (maybe yourself) your 30 something can learn the tricks of the trade with training wheels.  The only issue with that is the mentor has to take the time to train that person which may not be an option.
