For anyone who is using hostgator as their hosting system, I'd recommend you check out your site. On May 27th, they migrated their servers, and apparently, it's caused a lot of problems. We noticed this when we went to migrate my site (my site just got a makeover) and we couldn't get in to the Cpanel.
This issue was caused by the migration and they never bothered to tell us there was a new place we needed to login. We were on the phone with them several times and for a long time, and hold times were very long. Apparently, we weren't the only ones having issues. My site (which gets a lot of traffic was down for a while - I think for 18 hrs (and it shows in the on my google analytics.
On top of all of this, my 2 smaller sites which don't get many hits, were down for about a week. This is now a big SNAFU for me, and I'm hoping they can restore it for me in the next day or so, but there are some complications.
So, if you used hostgator, just check your site out and make sure everything is okay.
