Western Washington Home prices have increased slightly!

By
Managing Real Estate Broker with First Choice Reatly, LLC 20017

Western Washington homes that sold in January had their prices go up slightly from a year ago. Home inventory is still plentiful, but has reached its lowest level since April 2007.  Pending home sales are still lagging compared to a year-ago.  Listings are up around 35 % from January 2007.  There has been a significant increase in open house traffic, higher volumes of inquiries from first-time buyers.  Financing has become once again obtainable and inexpensive.  Buyers, have the best opportunity right know for getting the house of their dreams for the best possible terms.

The Pacific Northwest is back into a "normal" market more or less and more purchases are popping up on my desk.

THESE ARE THE GOOD OL' DAYS NOW!

Rates were over 10% 20 years ago so there is no good excuse here in the Northwest not to be selling and buying.

The inventory does seem to be moving - There are also a lot of new construction properties in Snohomish county on the market right now - I wonder if their higher price might be a factor on  some of the numbers..I will have to check that one out...
