These are a few shots from a recent trip we took to the Northern tip of Michigan for a 400000 acre inventory and appraisal.

 

I found this cool mural painted on the windows of an old store and thought it photo-worthy, hope you like it too.

Miles and Miles of beautiful sandy beaches along the icy shores of Lake Superior, you wont find babes on these beaches, just penguins.

Of course we did not come up here to check out the beaches, most of the time we spend out in the woods measuring and appraising the trees.

Bob I love Michigan. I live on the other side in Evanston IL right on the lake front so I get up there once in a while. The upper peninsula is pretty breath taking too.  So different then south.

Great pictures and I bet you had a great time. I would love to travel to your state...most likely in the summer though. I think it may be way too cold for me there in the winter.
