Are you Dedicated to your Real Estate Website?
During the last few months I have been working on my new website and I have to say if you don't have your own website... you may be missing out.
For years I have relied on my company/brokers supplied website and then had a Point 2 site as well. But as time passed and the company I was with changed site providers the content that I had built with each format went away.
Point 2 was visually disappointing and was difficult to customize.
Very frustrating.
Finally I committed to a custom site that I own. I have complete control- so the content I am building will not disappear when my company or broker make changes... or if I move to a different broker.
With the help of Agent Image, IDXDiverse Solutions, and input and encouragement from Laura Allen, and Jane Peters I have created my SchoweProperties.com site.
In reality creating your site is just the beginning. There are layers of content, pages of communities, neighborhood posts, concierge services, and links to maps of listings to build.
You may start with a good web-site... but it takes time and work to create a great one. You need to continue to add compelling content. A great website gives your clients and prospects the search tools, the photos and property info, neighborhood profiles, mixed with local information that keeps them engaged. It should be easy to maneuver, provide lead capture, and be mobile friendly.
Are you willing to put in the work to make your website great?
