Final quarter stats are in for the first quarter of 2013 and Texas Real Estate Market is Hot to Trot! When viewing the numbers based on last year’s first quarter Texas real estate stats are looking good for sellers. Out of 48 markets there is improvement in 44 of them. Homes are at a 4.2 sale rate, meaning it is averaging 4.2 months to sell a home in the Texas market at the moment. Buyers are at a 6.2, meaning more buyers than homes for sale. The job market increased in Texas and mortgage rates are down, stimulating the market in a positive way for sellers. Word to the wise for buyers- has your money ready and your FICO up so when a home comes on the market you can pounce!
