A Field of Flowers.... or.....

You know that field of flowers out your front window? Field of flowers
Well.... they might be flowers...
Okay, okay, so most of America would qualify them as weeds.
But, what do you do with them?
Can't live with them, but they can't seem to live without you.
They grow fast and they grow ALL OVER the yard.
So, what do you do?

Do you pluck them all out?
A labor of love plucking them one by one until your yard attains the beautiful green sheen that it should hold? Faking out any prospective buyers thinking that you have the one perfect yard in our nation that doesn't struggle with the little yellow wishing flower?

Do you spray?
Leaving behind a residue that is harmful to the animals and young children?
Sticking a sign proudly in the yard announcing your weed-free zone?

Do you ignore them?
Assuming that if you don't mention them that no one will else will see them either?
After all... the hundreds of yellow flower buds popping up all over don't mean anything unless you say something, right?

Do you leave a list behind of all their great qualities?
Tea...
Wart remover...
Color...

If all buyers were my children it wouldn't matter. They love the friendly yellow buttons. A field of the 'wishing flower' would make them quite excited. They would happily spend an entire afternoon in a yard full of flowers making wishes and plucking them one by one.

Unfortunately, most home buyers aren't my children. And, they might just care about the weed issues going on in a home they are purchasing. So, even if you can't take the time to weed out the famous yellow dandelions that pop up everywhere... maybe you can take the time to weed out the flower gardens.

A staged garden helps the eye. Even a small garden filled with weeds can give the buyer an illusion of a yard that is hard to handle.

So, before you end up with a field of weeds...
