When it comes to modern architecture in residential design and build, Atlanta doesn't come to mind for most folks. Rather, when one thinks of Atlanta architecture, large southern Antebellum homes, Colonial and Greek Revivals are a first thought. While the majority of homes around the Atlanta metro are more traditional in style and design, we do have our fair share of modern homes.
On June 1-9, some of Atlanta's premiere modern homes will be showcased and open to tour. As a modern architecture enthusiast, I enjoy the clean lines, the use of different building materials and the minimalist look and feel. Spans of glass and large open spaces are also favorites.
