Great to see some water in Sedona, AZ

Today was a long day of hiking for my wife and I, what a great opportunity to see some great sites. Though the Sedona, AZ is dry and on the hot side, today we hiked along a creek for part of the day. The creek provides water for some full size tree growth, shade, and cooler temperatures. It was a blessing to hear the roaring water flow after getting off the big rocks.

On Thursday, we will be heading for that big hole in the ground up north - the Grand Canyon. There we will see the true power of water over time.

Better get some rest!

I've seen the Grand Canyon.  OK, admittedly, it was out a window from about 35,000 feet high, but I have seen it!

Look carefully from the edge!

I've seen it from the ground once, it's a pretty big hole in the ground Jay. This may take some time.  :)

Tom, Enjoy!  Between Sedona, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon, you're visiting some of my favorite parts of the entire country.

Sheila - I've been told that more people visit Sedona than the Grand Canyon Sheila.
