I always enjoy working in this area of Wisconsin along the Michigan border, the timber is great, the wildlife is plentiful, and the scenery is exceptional.

Here is a photo of one of our young Foresters with his DME, compass, and other gear cruising a stand of high quality Sugar Maple near Monico Wisconsin.

If you know of anyone looking for an exception crew of Foresters to inventory, appraise or manage a forest....  Remember, When only the Best will do, count on the WMS crew.

Yup...you have one of the better jobs.

 

I am taking down some pine trees that are close tomy cabin.  I hate to but AI need to do it for some fire protection and for some roof issues.   I just need to find someone who wants the logs for some lumber,

Bob, I'm a little curious about Bill's comment.  Is there any monetary worth or useful purpose for the taller pines.  I heard some can be used for utility poles and others  aren't even good for that.
