Jackson, Tn. Tornado - Praise, Thanks and Video

Real Estate Agent with Carousel Realty of Dyer County

Our precious, soon to be daughter-in-law, Emily works as an R. N. at
Madison County General. When the tornado struck Jackson, Tn.,  she was called
to the ER and worked with many of the Union students who arrived
following the storm including one of the most severely injured.  We thank
God that neither my brother and his family, my mother or our oldest daughter Meaghan were
injured during the storms even though they passed close by.  Meaghan is a sophomore at Lambuth University in Jackson and sheltered in the dormitory basement.  God also put
Brandon and Emily in a place where they were not only safe but able
to provide comfort and assistance to many.  My brother Larry and his
family who live in Memphis also had a tornado pass close by but were
unharmed.  We had three tornadoes come through Dyer County but were fortunate and none of them touched down.  One did pass directly over our home and farm without touching down.  The children and I were in the storm house but had no trouble hearing it as it traveled above us.  When watching the video that is accessed by the link below,
I was struck by the words of comfort I have said to myself so often,
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear
no evil for Thou art with me".  I am so awed by the protection God
provided to so many during the storms that raged.  Watch the video - it
is a blessing to all.

Laura, Wow that is a lot of people in your family who were close to tornadoes and all in different areas.  What a blessing that you they all found places to shelter and that they were there to minister to other people.
