The Right Reasons

The right reasons I am in the Real Estate business.  When I made a career change a few years ago, many people shook their head and asked why I was changing and why on earth was I going into Real Estate.  At the time, I needed a change from my 15 year career as a Technical Trainer and Supervisor.  Real Estate seemed challenging, educational, I would get to meet new people and assist them in one of the greatest purchases of their lives.

Well, I have to say that these thoughts are still true – especially the challenge part on some days!  This business is educational - each day I am learning something new.  In fact, it is nice that I have had the opportunity to work on both sides of the business.  As an agent and at the local association level I have learned how the business runs almost full swing.  I love meeting new people on a daily basis and while having to start conversations with people is hard for a shy person, it is at the same time very rewarding. 

The best and most right reason - what I really love the most is to have a happy client.  From the time you show them the place they know they are going to call home - through all the negotiations, paperwork, inspection, appraisal and closing – and them moving into this home you know this is making a difference in their lives.  Seeing the client happy is the RIGHT REASON.
