Mortgage Interest Rates Affected by Today's Jobs Report

Mortgage and Lending with TBA
An improving economy and positive news in the job market often leads to higher interest rates, in the same way a struggling economy means rates are lowered to help stimulate it.
With today's jobs report, mortgage rates hit a new 15 month high.  It's been fairly inconsistent/volatile recently, so hopefully it means it will come down again?  But if you were on the fence about buying or refinancing, it's a good time to at least get an application in to see what you qualify for in case the trend continues up.
Feel free to message me for your qualifications, as your Hawaii mortgage interest rate will depend on your situation and eligibility.
Mahalo, have a safe weekend!
