Cripple Creek is a quaint mountain town located 1 hour West of Colorado Springs with a look and feel of Colorado high mountain living with a small town nearby that is popular for tourists to catch up on the gold mining activities and the casinos in town.   In the surrounding mountains there are wonderful communities of mountain homes where great properties can be found that are an easy commute to the Colorado Springs airport.   In May 2013 the Cripple Creek area had a total of 37 single family homes on an acre or more on the market.  Of those:

 

30 are active on the market

2 are under contract

2 are pending

3 are sold

The active properties list prices range from $100,000 to $3,425,000.  The average listing is $463,338 and 164 days on the market.  The average sales price is $143,300 and 224 days on the market.
