Last week, I wrote a blog about one of our favorite places to eat and enjoy happy hour in north Scottsdale, Pane e Vino Where to eat in north Scottsdale Pane e vino .
Prior to writing the blog, asked permission from the owner, Stuart, who was delighted that I'd write a localism post about him. After writing it, I sent him a link to the post.
On Wednesday of this week, I received a gift card from Pane e Vino with just the words "surprise" on it. My husband and I just assumed it was from Stuart as a way to say thank you for writing the blog. So, on Friday evening, we went to Pane e Vino to relax, have a wine (or two), had an escargot appetizer and split one of their extra yummy pizzas. When the owner, Stuart, came over, I thanked him profusely for such a generous gift card - certainly not necessary. It's my pleasure to write about our locally owned Scottsdale businesses.
Stuart looked truly perplexed and stated he hadn't sent it. WHAT?
So, the mystery begins - who sent me such a wonderful and generous Surprise?
Because I wrote the post in ActiveRain - I figured it had to have come from one of you!!!! Will the guilty person please raise his or her hand?
