Mountains Calling

Mountains

For the years we were not able to live in the mountain home of our choice, we frequently found ourselves dreaming of them

The details were not as vivid as I wished but for the most part the visions were pleasant.

Now they are just a hop and a skip from our delightful home for the next year.

Last Sunday we took some time to just refresh our memories and feed our souls.

Driving up hwy 550 we found many photographable vistas.  Here are just a few of those.  It is our hope that you can enjoy them as much as we did.

When the mountains call, it is a thrill to be able to answer.

Jeanne & Ralph, Love your mountain photo. Do you hike in the mountains? I just did several hikes in the Great Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. I understand the call of the mountains. Welcome to your new home in the mountains.

Yes hiking is big here.  Trails abound almost everywhere!!  Vista's that will take your breath away.  Also lots of biking, fishing (gold medal trout fishing), hunting (deer and elk), skiing in the winter, rafting in the summer (unless this drought persists.... then the rafting gets a little sketchy),  festivals every couple of weeks, low humidity, low population, so much to see and do folks never get bored!!
