The sound of one million cicadas looking for love

Also the sound of a single cicada, turn your speakers all the way up to hear the sound of these creatures who have been underground for 17 years.  Amazing little things, but we have so many now you can't stay outdoors in some places more then 10 minutes before one is crawling up the back of your neck.  I thought you might like to see how they morph from one stage to the fully mature bug.  Check it out on my Youtube video below;

Cool bug...  I remember them well while fishing..  the fish would not bite because they loved to eat the bug..

Cindy;  they do indeed fly, but only for short distances, usually from the ground to the back of my neck.

Richard, you should have used them for bait.
