Michael, this is a great idea and from just the picture you showed it is obvious there will be great artists.  Very creative, but what if it rains???  (Just in case Albert Hammonds was wrong with his hit tune of days gone by)

Hi Michael - I remember your post from last year and the amazing photos you showed us from that event. I'm hoping you'll be there to record it again.

These are just amazing.  I just hope the weather is clear and a rain shower doesn't wash away the art.

What a fabulous event-the chalk drawing of Einstein is a great likeness-I wish that I could be there as this is just up my alley-great to have talent in the neighborhood!

Who knew a chalk festival could be so much fun.  All that great artwork, classic cars and a police helicopter to boot. 

Michael-Never been to one but would love to go one day. I've seen a number of posts that Ron and Alexandra Seigel have done with chalk drawings. Lots of talented folks out there.

That is something I would truly enjoy Michael.  I've seen photos of them in the past and they are fascinating.  Wish I could be there.

The chalk artists are special people with extraordinary talent. I can't even imagine how they have the patience to do such detailed drawings on the sidewalk with chalk. It must be a back breaking job; yet I'll bet they don't complain.

This one of Einstein on the cover of TIME Magazine is surreal. The artists takes art to a complete different level and all I can do is stare in awe!

Michael, I don't know a lot about art but, chalk artists have always captured my attention. Their talent amazes me. I hope the weather is picture perfect for the 21st Annual Chalk Festival in Pasadena!
