If you are looking for something nice to do with the kiddos now that they are on summer vacation, take them to see Shrek in a different light. The musical version of Shrek will be going on from June 14, 2013 through June 30, 2013 at the Herberger Theatre. The theatre is located at 222 E Monroe St Phoenix AZ 85004 and is being sponsored by the Valley Youth Theatre. Tickets are anywhere from $16.50 to $34.50 and the show hours vary from day to day. This is a great way to beat the heat of the summer with an inside activity and support your local theatre at the same time. The kids all love the green Ogre and talkative donkey and would enjoy something a little different to do during their vacation. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
