Wordless Wednesday - Yankees Love

By

Yankees were in town this past weekend.  I was lucky enough, to have seats right behind their dugout for one game and I took my jersey off and none other than Andy Pettitte signed it!!!  I was shaking!!!  Only problem is I now need to go get another jersey because I am never washing this one!  NY I'm on my way soon!

Kerrie,

As a lifelong Yankee fan, I'm jealous. I do have a baseball signed by Yogi though. My Dad used to work for YooHoo soda when Yogi was their spokesperson. Met him several times.

Wow that is so cool. I think you should get one of those cool frames and michaels and frame this bad boy. My hubby is excited because he got invited to a super suite this Friday to see the Rockies take on the phillies.

Hi Kerrie, That sure is one one way to get a signature, take your jersey off, hopefully with some underneath it, LOL. Glad you got it and yes, you can frame the Jersey.

Kerrie, Andy is the one who should have been shaking!!  He obviously didn't realize how famous you are.... not to mention how important you are to us here in the Rain!!

My question is, does Andy know how lucky he was to meet you?  You should have asked him if he wanted you to sign his jersey.

Kerrie I think you are a New Yorker at heart. You seem a bit displaced and on the wrong coast?

Kerrie~ I'd say you had a pretty awesome day at the park! Rich and I are baseball fans too. We have a few autographed balls, but no jerseys.

Ha, well, next time you'll have to come to Fenway Park to get signatures from today's winners.  Don't get me wrong, Pettite and the Yankees are great, they're just not quite as good as the Red Sox anymore.

Hella - Yes, I think so!

Ed - Bah humbug!!!  They may be old but they are still rocking it!!!

Rich - That's amazing.   Yoohoo is huge in NY, nobody out here drinks it.

William - I did thank goodness!!

Jeanne & Ralph - Awwww, so sweet!  Thank you!

Janis - We moved out to Seattle when I was little but I do have a very, very special place in my heart for NY.

Brad - We'll see what you're singing come October.  Yes, you guys are a few games ahead of us right now but it's still very early my friend.

Super, duper, Kerrie. I am so excited for you, but I have to agree with others here. You are the famous one!! You are our hero. Don't even think of relocating back to NY. Great place to visit, but I would never want to live there. Just my opinion.

Kerrie, you were shaking?  Andy should be the one shaking.  I have the SF Giants and couldn't give a hoot about the best team money can buy.  (that would be the Yankees.)   But, I came by to wish you a belated congratulations on your marriage.  I saw it in the Daily Drop but didn't know how to find you until I read your comment on a post today.  Congrats and all the best to you forever.
