Debbie glad you had a great day fishing in Western Colorado. Love that Heron and I can't blame him for looking out for a meal :)
Hi, Debbie...even though the fish picture was bad, that heron shot was pretty good. Mother Nature set that one up for me.
Hey, Nick...you got that right. If it was my catch, I would have been on it.
Hi, Jennifer....It was a great day of fishing. That heron shot is almost priceless. He settled in so close to us. It was amazing.
The blue heron photo is excellent, the fish photo.....not so much Debbie. Looks like something I would take.
Thanks for taking us along on your fishing trip. It is neat to see that the two of you aren't competitive.
Make it a great week!
Okay, so the fish picture, not so good but that blue heron one - now THAT's a keeper!!!!
You are one lucky lady.
The photo is spectacular. As one who has caught many cutthroats, neither the light nor the angle could spoil it.
Put that prize on the grill and enjoy that wonderful red meat.
I sure miss Yellowstone.
Thanks, Roger...that bird picture made up for the bad fish picture.
Hi, Joe...I'm grinning at the thought of the competition. I usually win. HA...not this time, but that's OK.
Hi, Juli...I agree that the bird picture is a keeper.
Oh, Lenn...I didn't know you were a fisherman(woman) at heart. I don't care about being politically correct. I wish they had gotten our Colorado Native Cutthroat Trout going on this stretch of water, but no such luck. That species is almost on the endangered list. This is a catch and release stretch, and that's good and why the fish are so big.
Well it was Father's Day so you had to let him get the big fish. Next time you will show him. The blue heron is stunning though.
