Real Estate Agent with Perry Wellington Realty

Don't work with an agent you meet at an open house, find in the Yellow Pages or on the Internet without thoroughly checking the agent's credentials, experience and practice.
All states regulate and license real estate agents and brokers. Only agents who meet minimum levels of state-mandated education, training and testing are licensed. Brokers, who generally oversee agents, have more training, education and experience. Ask for proof. The license offers you a layer of consumer protection should something go wrong.

i found this article about finding an agent,,  dont find an agent that works an open house that you tour,, hmmm...  alot of realtors get buyers from open houses..AND ETC,,,,,

Do people imposter Realtors in your area?  We had one guy in The Florida Keys doing that.  He ended up serving Jail Time.  Florida takes that pretty seriously.

Why Else would I host a open House. my time is valuable. I am sitting there to find buyers short and simple. Sur there maybe a slim chance to sell the listing at the open. However finding buyers is what it about.

I am a great agent and work hard.  People please do not believe for a min an agent  in a open is not qualified to get the deal done. This is a crap article...Sharon Harris AllQuest Real Estate Hanover pa

Brian, I agree with your comments about "Checking the agents credentials, practice, experience; to some extent?, and interviewing potential agents. Because we are all created equally, some are just better! Because of their talents, education, knowledge and techniques or methods.
