Most summer activities at Breckenridge Ski Resort start on June 14.  They offer family fun activities that will keep you playing all day long.  From the Gold Runner Coaster, Alpine slides, biking trails, and guided hiking and tours and more to mini golf and gold panning, there is sure to be a crowd pleaser.  They didn't forget the little ones either, the resort offers child care summer camp, the Mineshaft Maze, rock climbing, and a bounce house.

In Breckenridge there are activities hosted throughout summer.  Next weekend, June 14-16, is the 8th Annual Breckenridge Kingdom Days festival.  This is Breck's kick off to summer with a variety of free, family-fun activities located throughout downtown Breckenridge.  You can attend many of the museums at no cost, enjoy a guided tour, train rides, gondola rides, try your hand at Gold Panning in the Blue River or watch the entertainment of the Outhouse Races!

 

Starting  June 22 and running 11 weeks, Breckenridge hosts the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Pro Rodeo every Saturday and Sunday.  They have Saddle Bronc, Bareback Riding, Bull Riding, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Tie-Down Roping, Barrel Racing, and 1-2 clown acts.  There will also be kids’ events that are open to public participation such as Mutton Busting and Calf Scrambles. Yeehaw!! If you start seeing those cowboys on Main Street, get ready for a kick-up-your boots weekend! (No pets are allowed at this event.)
