The Berkeley Park/Mountain View neighborhood is a beautiful place to live; with two lakes adjacent and Inspiration Point Park slightly north. Inspiration Point Park has a spectactular panoramic view of the front range of the Rocky Mountains and the whole of the city of Denver. The Berkeley Lake area has everything available for summer fun, with a basketball court, dog park, and the Smiley Branch Library right around the corner. The dog park has plenty of room for running and a lot of shade to retire from the sun. Whether you're just there to read on the weekend by the water, or to play sports alongside the open fields, Berkeley Park is the place to visit.
In addition to exploring the park life, there are some great restaurants in the area like Parisi. It's a wonderful family friendly environment of delicious Italian cuisine great for visitors to the neighborhood and locals alike.

Right next door to Berkeley is the Lakeside Amusement Park with a wide variety of family fun. The Amusement Park has drop towers, bumper cars, and roller coasters of a great historic nature as it is one of the oldest amusment parks in the United States. It's the perfect place to spend the day, with room to host picnics, company outings and more. There's been great renovations in the park over the years, but it still shows great Art Deco style to admire while visiting.
